Part: type:dc conversion kit dc the factory headlight supplied on 07 Ktm execs operates via its own ac output from stater with no battery backup. This kit modifies the stock charging system and wiring so headlight is powered dc via battery.

This modification phases the two existing stater outputs together, allowing battery to see its full potential.

Once installed, low rpm dimming pulsing is eliminated, headlight power retained when the engine shuts off, and installation of an hid system becomes possible.

Note: a simple re-soldering modification to the stater is necessary for installation of this kit.

The result is low rpm dimming, stall shutoff, and inability to operate an hid conversion. The ra must be on outside of each package with in a visible area.
